Remote control dice are often unbalanced to favor certain outcomes. For example one of the tops or bottoms of the dice may be removed.
It’s a type of cheating that requires amount of practice and skill. It can be a huge advantage for a player. It also cuts down on the exploration aspect of the game.
1. Deployment Options
When making your plans for deployment, the most important element to consider is what units are on reserve. Depending on the mission you might not be able LOS to each of them, but it is important to plan for the possibility that they will be deploying at least one unit within their rear arc, and might block your Alpha strike, if they’re not in a central location.
To stop this from happening, put in place all your models in a central location and maximize the threat capabilities of each model – it’s better to be an enemy’s side than not. Also do not try to take the initiative unless absolutely need to do so – it’ll not only cost you one turn, but also negate the value of your reserves later in the game.
It is advised to counter this by deploying a large number of weapons with high power and high counts for example, Vendettas (high-power and high-count weaponry) AC/HB Baal Predators (high-power, high-count weaponry), Longfangs (high-count weaponry) and Havoc Squads. These guns can provide a high-volume of fire in close range and pose the most dangerous threat for enemy units. This is especially relevant to armies known to be shooty, like Dark Eldar or IG. But even feetloggers, such as HB Havoc Squads or the rifleman dreads could pose a serious danger if they were placed on the board at the beginning of the game.
2. Eyeballing Distances
It’s never easy to beat your opponent to the punch. But there are a lot of times when it is possible. If you see a Furioso Dreadnought bursting out of the pod from the distance, then you should attack it. It’s risky, but your opponent will not be able to anticipate it (unless they’ve predicted the drop of a pod, that isn’t legal when playing in competitive environments).
There is even more you can do. With our Lucky Mercury Loaded Dice (our most popular product), you can choose the precise number of dice pips that result from every roll. The three-dimensional rhombohedron has been embedded within the dice and the mercury seals it instead of iron powder. This allows you to get total control with just one swat. This is a wonderful way to make sure you have odds that are in your favor.
3. Defensive Strategies
A competently played game will require players to think about the stack’s movement and attempt to influence it. When defending a certain territory, you must also consider defensive tactics. For instance, if you’ve got many ground units of different powers and you think that the Allied player is likely to be sending a lot of multi-power units to defend their area, you might decide it’s worth it to deploy defensive strategies so that your attack won’t be attacked as severely.
4. Rapid Deployment
Dice control is an extremely physical skill which requires hours upon hours of training to master. Even the most dedicated shot-maker who has mastered their skills can be affected by physical circumstances or fatigue.
There are, however, simple solutions to improve the chances of the dice-based games you play in your favor. The Lucky Mercury Loaded Dice is one of the most sought-after solutions. These dice are firmly sealed by mercury to replace iron powder. Additionally, the mercury can move freely, giving you complete control over each roll. They’re also referred to as fixed dice or loaded dice craps.
